A-Town Art Hop returns to Downtown Atascadero as two-day event
Event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 13 and from noon to 5 p.m. on June 14
– The A-Town Art Hop will return to downtown Atascadero as a two-day event on June 13 and June 14, bringing art, music and community engagement to the city center.
The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 13 and from noon to 5 p.m. on June 14. It will feature artists, musicians, live demonstrations, and interactive installations throughout downtown.
Artist submissions for the 2025 Art Hop are now open through May 5 at midnight. Organizers are calling for entries from creatives of all disciplines, including 2D and 3D art, digital art, photography, illustration, sculpture, street art, poetry, and mixed media. Participants can apply at www.atownarthop.org.
Organizers are also seeking live performers, muralists, chalk artists, musicians and others interested in audience engagement through hands-on or immersive work.
According to event organizers, the 2025 A-Town Art Hop is part of a larger effort to encourage people to reconnect with downtown Atascadero following recent construction and revitalization efforts.
“That’s why this Art Hop is about more than just art. It’s about reintroducing our community to a revitalized downtown—getting people walking, gathering, exploring, and reconnecting with all the incredible spaces, shops, and restaurants that make Atascadero special,” the organizers said in a statement.
The organizers thanked the city for its investment and support in downtown improvements, which they said helped create a space for community-centered events.
