Geoff Auslen is running for the newly-formed second district
– This week, Geoff Auslen announced that A Better Atascadero (ABA), a local pro-jobs organization, has endorsed his campaign for supervisor.
“As a long-time small business owner and local resident, Geoff Auslen is the candidate best equipped to move the new second district forward,” said ABA president Ron Walters. “Geoff graduated from a local high school, attended college locally, owns local businesses, and has been active in many community projects – including spearheading the Parents of Joy playground, serving as a long-time member of the Atascadero Elks, and most recently served on the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
“Geoff has the interest, drive, and determination to work hard for our county, and has the local experience and knowledge to be a successful champion for our community.”
ABA was formed in 2008 as a publicly organized non-profit to advocate for the citizens of Atascadero when unnecessary regulations threatened property rights. Since then, ABA has taken a larger role in promoting government accountability and has been focused in educating the community about key pro-jobs and property rights issues.
Auslen is also supported by Atascadero Mayor Pro Tem Heather Newsom, Atascadero City Council Members Charles Bourbeau and Mark Dariz, former Atascadero Mayor Tom O’Malley, and several other local leaders.
