– Atascadero police asked residents for help Friday night finding a missing 11-year-old boy, and a later county alert said the department had located the missing juvenile, according to The San Luis Obispo Tribune.

The Tribune reported that the Atascadero Police Department sent a reverse 911 text and voicemail to residents shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, saying officers were looking for the boy in the area of 3F Meadows.

The department described the boy as a white male juvenile with brown hair and glasses. He has a cut on his eyebrow and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and gray sweats, according to the department. He was last seen at 5:54 p.m. Friday in the area of Vista and San Marcos roads.

A later reverse 911 message, dated 2:41 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, on the county’s emergency alerts page said the Atascadero Police Department had located the missing juvenile. The message did not include further details.
