Hope Lutheran, Atascadero United Methodist to host Fall Festival Oct. 30

– Hope Lutheran Church will host its fifth annual Fall Festival from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, and for the first time, Atascadero United Methodist Church will join as a co-host.
The free, family-friendly event will include trunk-or-treat, a chili cookoff, a bounce house, and games and prizes for children of all ages. Chili cookoff winners will receive 3D-printed prizes, and costumes are encouraged.
“I’m excited for Hope to host our annual Fall Festival,” said Leo Sarade, youth coordinator at Hope Lutheran. “It’s a great opportunity to open our doors, share our space and extend our hospitality to the greater Atascadero community. I always enjoy hosting games and meeting new people, and I hope we’ll see a great turnout.”
“Everyone is invited to put on a fun costume and join us on October 30,” Sarade added. “We’re looking forward to a great evening together!”
Michelle Park, pastor of Atascadero United Methodist Church, said, “We’re grateful to join Hope for the Fall Festival. We welcome the opportunity to be part of this fun community activity and to continue to develop our partnership in ministry. I look forward to renewing acquaintances on October 30 and tasting some great chili!”
The festival will take place at Hope Lutheran Church, 8005 San Gabriel Road, across the street from San Gabriel Elementary School. Parking is available at the church.

Hope Lutheran Church, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, holds services at 9 a.m. Sundays. Atascadero United Methodist Church, 11605 El Camino Real, holds worship at 10 a.m. Sundays. A-Town Daily News previously reported on a community music event at Hope Lutheran.
