Pedestrian killed in collision on Highway 46 East
Police ask anyone with information to come forward
– A pedestrian was killed Friday night after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 46 East near Mill Road in Paso Robles, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.
At about 10:27 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, police dispatch received a call about a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision with injury, the department said. When officers arrived, they determined that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of Highway 46 East, east of Mill Road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services, according to the department. The police department’s traffic division was notified and assumed the investigation.

The department reminded everyone to drive safely, remain aware of other drivers and pedestrians, and obey all traffic laws.
