Tip-A-Cop fundraiser returns to benefit Special Olympics athletes
– The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office and local law enforcement agencies will host the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser on two nights this month to benefit Special Olympics athletes.
The event will include a barbecue dinner featuring tri-tip, barbecue chicken, sides, bread, and beverages. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with San Luis Obispo County deputies and officers. Organizers said 100% of proceeds will benefit Special Olympics athletes.
The San Luis Obispo event will take place Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Alex Madonna Expo Center, with seating at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Paso Robles event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Paso Robles Event Center, with seating at 6 p.m.
