Sunday swim program begins in Atascadero Aug. 2
– The City of Atascadero will offer its Sunday Aquatics Program from Aug. 2 through Aug. 30, providing weekend recreation swim, lap swim, and private swim lessons.
The program begins Sunday, Aug. 2, with recreation and lap swim from 10:15 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.
Beginning Sunday, Aug. 9, and continuing through Aug. 30, recreation and lap swim will be offered from noon to 2:45 p.m. Private lessons will be available in two sessions, from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. and from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Drop-in admission for recreation and lap swim is $5 per participant. A 10-swim pass costs $45 and may be used for recreation or lap swim and shared among family members. Private lessons cost $191 for Atascadero residents and $210.10 for nonresidents.
Residents can register for private lessons online at www.atascadero.org by selecting “Activities & Recreation,” then “Register For A Class or Activity,” followed by “Activities,” and searching for “Swim.”
Registration for lessons, swim passes, and drop-in swims is also available in person at the Colony Park Community Center, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Swim passes must be purchased in person.
Drop-in fees and swim passes may be paid on the day of participation with onsite pool staff using cash or check.
