National Night Out returns to Atascadero Aug. 4
Annual event promotes public safety and community partnerships
– The Atascadero Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sunken Gardens in Downtown Atascadero.
The annual event brings together residents, first responders, and community partners to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community while promoting neighborhood connections and public safety.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet members of the Atascadero Police Department, local public safety personnel, community organizations, and local businesses. The event will include activities for all ages and opportunities for conversations between community members and first responders.
“National Night Out is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the relationships that help keep our community safe,” Chief of Police Dan Suttles said. “We encourage everyone to come out, meet their local first responders, and enjoy an evening focused on community, connection, and partnership.”
The Atascadero Police Department invited residents of all ages to attend the event and celebrate the partnerships between the community and public safety agencies.
