Golf tournament benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast

The organization will hold tournaments in Santa Maria and Paso Robles
– Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast will hold its 27th annual Ag for Youth Golf Tournament on July 31 at the Santa Maria Country Club to raise money for local youth programs.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at noon. Proceeds will support the organization’s 10 club sites and the children they serve.
Golfers will receive lunch, on-course beverages and snacks, a gift bag, two mulligans per foursome, and refreshments following the tournament. The event will also include games and activities, including closest to the pin, longest drive, and the seven-iron sprout swing.
The tournament will feature an annual Pebble Beach raffle. The grand prize includes foursomes with carts at Spyglass Hill Golf Course, The Links at Spanish Bay, and Pebble Beach Golf Links, along with two rooms for two nights at The Inn at Spanish Bay.
Organizers will sell no more than 200 raffle tickets. Ticket sales will end one hour before the drawing or when tickets sell out. Organizers will select the winning ticket during the July 31 tournament, and the winner does not need to attend.
The organization will hold another golf tournament Oct. 2 at Hunter Ranch Golf Course in Paso Robles.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast serves children ages 4 to 18 through after-school tutoring, mentoring, and recreational activities. The organization operates 10 sites in Atascadero, Creston, Guadalupe, Paso Robles, Santa Maria, and Shandon.
