Summer concert series continues with Ghost Monster
Free concert begins July 11 at Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand
– The City of Atascadero’s “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series continues Saturday with a performance by Ghost Monster at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand.
The free concert begins at 6:30 p.m. on July 11 at Atascadero Lake Park.
Ghost Monster is led by vocalist and acoustic guitarist Nataly Lola. Lola is an award-winning songwriter whose debut self-titled album was produced by the late Randy Rigby, a Platinum Award-winning producer, Grammy member, and Grammy Award nominee.
Lead guitarist Jaxon Camaero has performed and toured with bands throughout the country before relocating to San Luis Obispo County. Ghost Monster performs as both a duo and a full band with drummer Dale Moon of the Travis Larson Band and bassist Paul Rigby, a musician and producer and the son of Randy Rigby. The band performs rock music spanning multiple eras.
Food will be available for purchase during the concert. Huatulco Tacos and Paradise Shaved Ice are scheduled to attend the July 11 event.
The remaining concert schedule includes:
- July 25: PUSH, performing rock-infused dance music from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and today.
- Aug. 1: Josh Rosenblum Band, performing pop, rock, and blues.
- Aug. 8: Lady and The Tramps, performing rock, rhythm and blues, soul, and blues.
- Aug. 15: The Electric Lavender Train, performing classic rock and roll covers.
- Aug. 29: The Cinders Blues Band, performing blues music.
All concerts are held outdoors at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand and are free to attend. The city recommends attendees bring a low-back chair. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
