Holiday weekend forecast: Warm weather, mostly sunny skies

– Warm weather and mostly sunny skies are expected throughout the Fourth of July holiday weekend, with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees and cool overnight lows in the upper 40s and low 50s.
Friday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 79 degrees and a low around 49 degrees. Saturday, Independence Day, will be partly cloudy with a high near 80 and a low of 53. Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 77 and a low of 52, while Monday will be partly cloudy with a high of 79 and a low of 53.
A warming trend is expected to begin Tuesday, when temperatures climb to a high of 84 degrees. The hottest weather of the week is forecast for Wednesday, with sunny skies and a high near 88 degrees, followed by Thursday with a high of 87. Temperatures are expected to ease slightly Friday, with sunny skies and a high of 82.
No precipitation is forecast through the week.
