City’s ‘Coffee with a Planner’ series returns this week
– The City of Atascadero Community Development Department will host its next “Coffee with a Planner” session on April 16 at 9 a.m. at Amstrdm Coffee House.
The event is part of a monthly series held on the third Thursday of each month. The sessions provide an opportunity for community members to speak with staff about land use, zoning, city policy, and development projects.
This month’s topic will focus on the 2045 General Plan, Zoning Code Update, and the associated draft Environmental Impact Report. The department’s planning division continues work on the general plan update and zoning code revisions and is currently in the environmental review stage while completing a draft environmental impact report.
Staff will address the featured topic and respond to additional questions as time allows. The sessions aim to provide an accessible setting for public input and open dialogue about ongoing and future projects in the city.
The department encourages community members to attend the session and participate in the discussion.
