Tech networking mixer returns for first event of 2026

Event is free and open to the public

– The Central Coast Tech Networking Mixer will kick off 2026 with its first event of the year at BridgeWorks in Atascadero on Jan. 15, running from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., continuing a growing series that has become a staple for local professionals since its launch in 2024.

Hosted by Albert’s List with support from the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce and BridgeWorks, the mixer has welcomed more than 375 attendees over the past year. Participants have included entrepreneurs who have vibe-coded their own apps, job seekers exploring new paths, corporate recruiters, and remote employees working for Fortune 500 companies.

Attendees often describe the energy of the event as reminiscent of San Francisco–style networking, but with a Central Coast twist—casual, welcoming, and community-driven, according to organizers. Conversations regularly span current projects, emerging technology trends, artificial intelligence, and the realities of today’s job market.

“If your New Year’s resolution is to meet new people or learn more about what’s happening in tech, this is a great place to start,” said Albert Qian, founder of Albert’s List. “People come curious, open, and ready to connect.”

The event is free and open to the public. Pizza will be provided, and donations to help cover food costs are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards or LinkedIn QR codes for easy introductions.
