City of Atascadero opens Youth T-Ball registration
– The City of Atascadero announced that registration is open for its youth T-ball league, with registration closing Feb. 27.
According to the city, the youth T-ball league is designed to teach the basics of baseball in an instructional setting focused on participation. The league is open to boys and girls ages 4.5 to 6.
All practices and games will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Paloma Creek Park throughout the season. Practices are scheduled to begin the week of March 24. League games are set to begin April 14 and will continue through May 21.
The city reported that a coach’s meeting is scheduled for March 19 at Paloma Creek Park. The meeting time has not yet been determined.
The city is also seeking volunteer coaches and sponsors for the youth T-ball league.
