City of Atascadero launches ‘Coffee with a Planner’ series
Monthly series aims to gather public input on planning topics
– The City of Atascadero will begin a monthly “Coffee with a Planner” series to provide opportunities for the community to connect with city planning staff.
The first session is scheduled for Jan. 15 at 9 a.m. at Malibu Brew in Atascadero, California.
According to the city, the sessions are intended to allow planning staff to hear from community members on topics including land use, zoning, city policy, and development projects. Each session will focus on a specific topic, and staff may address additional topics as time allows.
The topic for the Jan. 15 session is short-term rentals, also known as vacation rentals.
The city stated the series is designed to provide a setting for community input and discussion related to planning matters. Community members may attend any session in the series.
