– Paso Robles High School and Atascadero High School are holding a fundraising competition to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Students, staff, families, and community members are being asked to donate and show support as the Bearcats and Greyhounds compete in both football and fundraising.

The effort will conclude on Sept. 19 during the Paso Robles High School Homecoming football game against Atascadero. The total amount raised by each school will be announced at halftime.

“This fundraiser lets our students see how powerful their efforts can be,” said Jennifer Bedrosian, co-director of activities at Paso Robles High School. “It’s not just about winning a rivalry—it’s about uniting to help children and families facing the toughest battles of their lives.”

“Anytime we face Paso there’s excitement, and this fundraiser adds even more fuel to that fire,” said Kerry Sherer, ASB advisor at Atascadero High School. “Our Greyhounds are ready to give it their all—on the field and for St. Jude.”

All proceeds will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which provides treatment, travel, housing, and food to families at no cost.

Community members can donate through each school’s designated online links: Paso Robles High School or Atascadero High School.
