Atascadero Police Department welcomes new school resource officer
– The Atascadero Police Department announced that Officer Braun has been appointed as the new school resource officer for the Atascadero Unified School District.
The department said Officer Braun will work to build relationships with students, staff and families while helping keep campuses safe. According to the department, she will be available at schools to answer questions, provide support and connect with students inside and outside the classroom.
The Atascadero Police Department encouraged the community to welcome Officer Braun as she begins her role.
