Templeton CHP cites second high-speed driver within days
– Officers with the California Highway Patrol in Templeton stopped two vehicles traveling at speeds over 110 mph in separate incidents within days of each other, the agency reported.
According to CHP Templeton, the first vehicle was stopped just days ago by one of their officers. A second incident occurred shortly afterward, involving a different officer.
“These aren’t isolated moments; they’re milestone interventions on rural roadways that preserve lives,” CHP Templeton stated in a message shared publicly.
The agency addressed drivers directly in the release: “To the violator: your speed endangers everyone—yourself, innocent travelers, and the officers putting themselves at risk during these stops. These professionals have families. They carry the weight of responsibility. Reckless choices can ripple far beyond the driver’s seat. It’s time for reflection, accountability, and respect for the lives around you.”
CHP Templeton has not released additional details on the drivers or locations of the stops.
