Free event will offer health assessments
– Cuesta College nursing students will host a Senior Wellness Fair for the North County community on Friday, June 27. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Quail Run Estates Club House, located at 1400 Quail Run Avenue in Paso Robles.
The free event will offer health assessments including blood pressure, pulse, vision acuity, memory testing, and evaluations of balance and flexibility. Educational sessions will cover exercise, osteoporosis prevention, recognizing signs and symptoms of strokes or heart attacks, healthy eating habits and more.
“This marks the fourth wellness fair hosted by the Cuesta College licensed vocational nursing class for our community,” said Nancy Wages, assistant director of the licensed vocational nursing program. “This event has always been fun for students and great engagement with the community.”
