Cruisin’ Weekend will return to Atascadero in August
Cruise downtown Atascadero kicks off series of events
– The City of Atascadero will host its 2025 Cruisin’ Weekend, beginning with the 32nd annual Hot El Camino Cruise Nite on Friday, Aug. 15, at 6:30 p.m. The weekend-long event is presented by the Atascadero Recreation Division, Visit Atascadero and the City of Atascadero and is free to attend.
More than 350 cruisers with restored antique cars from the 1950s and 1960s will travel downtown along El Camino Real from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 15. Cruise Nite, one of the largest events in San Luis Obispo County, also ranks as one of the city’s signature celebrations. It has expanded into a weekend of festivities for residents and visitors.
On Saturday, Aug. 16, the 34th annual Mid-State Cruizers Car Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Atascadero Lake Park. That evening, the ninth annual Dancing in the Streets will run from 5 to 10 p.m. downtown.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the weekend, and local merchants will remain open for the festivities.
