Charles Paddock Zoo hosts annual Ice Cream Zoofari event
Event includes admission to the zoo and access to ice cream, sundaes, and toppings
– The Charles Paddock Zoo will host its 22nd Annual Ice Cream Zoofari on Saturday, June 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring unlimited ice cream, live music, and family-friendly activities. This year’s event marks the zoo’s 70th anniversary and will include the unveiling of a new name.
The event includes admission to the zoo and access to ice cream, sundaes, and toppings. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the zoo’s animal exhibits, which feature species from around the world.
Ticket prices are $16 for guests ages 13 and older, $11 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for children ages 2 and under. Zoo members receive a $2 discount per ticket. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.VisitAtascadero.com/IceCreamZoofari.
The Charles Paddock Zoo is located at Atascadero Lake Park on Highway 41, one mile west of Highway 101. It is the only zoo in San Luis Obispo County accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The zoo is open daily and houses hundreds of animals.
