Winemakers dinner supports El Camino Homeless Organization

Proceeds will support shelter’s efforts to provide shelter, services, and support

– A fundraising event benefiting El Camino Homeless Organization will take place Friday, June 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Copia Vineyards Willow Creek Estate, located at 999 Kiler Canyon Road in Paso Robles.

The event, titled “Vines That ECHO: A Winemakers Dinner,” is hosted by Vin13 Wine Bar and will feature local wines and a multi-course meal prepared by chef Rachel Ponce. Wines will be provided by Copia Vineyards & Winery, The Royal Nonesuch Farm, Ciento Cellars, and Vin13 Wine Bar.

Chef Rachel Ponce, who moved to the Central Coast from Chicago, is the founder of Pair With and serves as resident chef and recipe developer for Edible San Luis Obispo Magazine.

The idea for the event came from Raymond Fairchild, owner of Vin13 Wine Bar. “When I learned about the number of families with children being helped by ECHO, I knew I had to do something,” Fairchild said. “Bringing together these incredible winemakers and Chef Rachel to support this cause is one small way we can help amplify ECHO’s mission and give back to the community that supports us every day.”

Proceeds from the event will support El Camino Homeless Organization’s efforts to provide shelter, services, and support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in San Luis Obispo County.

Table sponsorships are available for $3,000 and include a reserved table for eight, premier seating, sponsor recognition, marketing benefits, and social media promotion. Only three sponsorships are available. Individual tickets are $250 and include dinner, wine pairings, and the opportunity to support the organization’s programs. A total of 32 tickets are available.

El Camino Homeless Organization operates shelters in Atascadero and Paso Robles with a combined capacity of 130 beds. The organization also offers a daily community dinner program and shower program throughout San Luis Obispo County.
