– The Atascadero Police Department announced the retirement of Corporal Scott Pipan after 21 years of service.

Pipan’s career with the department included earning a Life-Saving Award for his actions during an incident on Oct. 16. The department recognized his courage and commitment to serving the community.

The department expressed gratitude for Pipan’s hard work, leadership, and dedication, stating that his contributions will be missed.

Pipan is retiring to begin a new chapter in his life. The department congratulated him on his retirement and extended their best wishes for his future endeavors.
