League of Women Voters hosts forum on public communication
Event will take place at the Atascadero Library Martin Polin Community Room Nov. 16
– The League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County’s Civil Discourse Committee will present an in-person public forum titled “How to Effectively Communicate Your Ideas and Be Heard in Public Meetings” on Saturday, Nov. 16. The event will take place at the Atascadero Library Martin Polin Community Room, located at 6555 Capistrano in Atascadero, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. This forum is free and open to the public.

The forum aims to help community members learn how public meetings operate and how to contribute effectively. It will cover techniques for improving listening and speaking skills to enhance communication in local public meetings, such as those held by city councils and school boards.
