Zoo Boo returns with two nights of Halloween fun
Attendees can enjoy Halloween-themed activities suitable for all ages
– The City of Atascadero and the Charles Paddock Zoo will host Zoo Boo, a popular annual Halloween event, on two nights this year. The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. each evening.
Attendees can enjoy Halloween-themed activities suitable for all ages, including Halloween decorations throughout the zoo, carnival games, a haunted maze, and various tricks and treats. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes, with two costume contests planned—one for children and another for families. The zoo recommends that costumes be non-violent and not too scary, and that adults refrain from wearing masks or carrying costume weapons to ensure a safe environment for young children.
The Charles Paddock Zoo is home to a diverse array of animals, including red pandas, monkeys, meerkats, parrots, a Malayan tiger, and various reptiles. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $16 per person per night for regular admission and $15 per person per night for Zoo members. Admission is free for children ages 2 and under. Tickets can be purchased at VisitAtascadero.com/ZooBoo.
Attendees are encouraged to help the environment by bringing reusable trick-or-treat bags. Zoo Boo is presented by Pure Pediatric Dentistry and Madrone Landscapes, with Gold Sponsor 4th Generation Tree.
