Quota hosting Independence Day-themed Bunco fundraiser
Event coming to Kiwanis Hall on June 27
– Atascadero Quota Bunco parties, aimed at raising funds for community service work undertaken by Quota members, are set to return with an Independence Day-themed event on June 27.
The event, touted as the “biggest Bunco party in the county,” will commence at 6 p.m. at the Atascadero Kiwanis Hall, located at 7848 Pismo Avenue in Atascadero.
Attendees can anticipate an evening filled with Bunco provided by Quota of Atascadero, alongside an array of food, beverages — including wine and beer — and opportunities to win prizes.
Tickets for the event are priced at $20 each, and those interested can reach out to Sylvia Biddle at (805) 237-7326 for purchases.
Quota, a local volunteer organization, boasts a network of dedicated individuals committed to serving the needs of the community. The organization’s members collaborate to make a positive impact while finding enjoyment in their efforts.
While Quota’s membership is diverse, its members share a common objective of aiding others and deriving satisfaction from their endeavors.
Among the various ways in which Quota serves and supports the community are hosting the Colony Tea annually, offering scholarships for youth, extending support to Lumina through gas and grocery cards, procuring necessary supplies for the Link, and fulfilling requested items from school nurses.
Furthermore, the club actively engages in hands-on service, including assisting with Coats for Kids, providing meals and support at Echo, participating in Packing for Soldiers initiatives, assembling kits for CiroFeed, and distributing hearing awareness items to children during Colony Days. The club also extends its support to Greybots, the Colony Days committee, and the Lighthouse Reality Tour.
