Morro Bay Art Association to host interactive ‘Paint Your Pet’ demonstration
– The Morro Bay Art Association is set to showcase an engaging demonstration titled “Paint Your Pet.” The event is scheduled for Nov. 13, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Art Center Morro Bay, located at 835 Main Street, Morro Bay. This interactive demonstration is open to the public at no cost.
The featured artist for this event, Karyn Blaney, holds a fine art degree from Kent State University, with a specialization in printmaking. Her artistic approach is characterized by a dynamic use of various mediums, including paint, ink, pencil, and paper. Blaney draws inspiration from a wide array of sources, ranging from movie scenes to personal encounters on the streets.
Karyn Blaney is also the founder of ArtSocial805, a traveling art studio established eight years ago on the central coast, with its home base in Paso Robles. Over the years, she has instructed a diverse range of individuals, spanning from the ages of 5 to 95.
