Coffee with a Cop event to foster community engagement
– Residents of Atascadero are invited to participate in the upcoming “Coffee with a Cop” event on Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. This community-focused initiative is a collaborative effort by the Atascadero Police Department, the Atascadero Recreation Division, and the City of Atascadero.
The event will take place at the local Malibu Brew in Atascadero, providing an informal and welcoming setting for community members to engage in open and meaningful conversations with law enforcement officers.
The primary goal of “Coffee with a Cop” is to enhance trust within the community and foster stronger relationships between residents and the police force. By offering the opportunity for one-on-one interactions over a cup of coffee, the event aims to bridge any gaps in communication, allowing community members to voice their concerns, ask questions, and share their perspectives with local law enforcement personnel.
