– The Morro Bay Art Association will present “Inspiration,” an exhibit that explores the creative process behind works of art. The exhibit will feature a variety of platforms, mediums, and ideas, and will take visitors on a personal journey through the artistic process.
In addition to “Inspiration,” the Morro Bay Art Association will also host “Brushstrokes 2023,” a juried exhibit by The Painter’s Group from San Luis Obispo. The exhibit will feature a variety of mediums, including acrylic, oil, mixed media, watercolor, pastel, and digital, and will encompass a wide range of subject matter, including figurative, landscape, and abstract works.
The exhibits will run from Sept. 21, through Nov. 6, with an opening reception on Sunday, Sept. 24, from 2-4 p.m.
Both exhibits will be on display at the Art Center Morro Bay, located at 835 Main St. in Morro Bay.
