Atascadero native conducts helicopter maintenance aboard USS Nimitz

Navy ship is engaged in standard operations in the Pacific Ocean

– Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Kian Biro, from Atascadero, performs maintenance on an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Screamin’ Indians” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6 within the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz for the US Navy.

The USS Nimitz is presently engaged in standard operations in the Pacific Ocean.
