Atascadero Rotary Club donates to Coats for Kids 

– The Atascadero Rotary Club donated $3,000 last week to the local charity Coats for Kids.

The Rotary Club of Atascadero also got involved with North County Coats for Kids late last year. Club member Ken Weathers took the lead and organized the club’s contributions. In just a few weeks, the club collected and donated over 700 coats and jackets, along with $700 in cash. The club has adopted this cause into its “Continuing Resolutions,” so that members can support this great need for years to come.

Coats for Kids has been run by Barbie and John Butz for over 35 years with the goal of providing coats, jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts to those in need. Read their story here at www.coatsforkidsslocounty.org.
