Community health fair slated for June 11 in Morro Bay
Event will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Iglesias Linaje Escojido de Morro Bay Church
– “Life is better when you’re living healthy” is the slogan of the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California (LCHC), a group of non-profit health and service agencies dedicated to providing direct health and education services to the residents of northern San Luis Obispo County.
Members of the coalition, such as Common Spirit Health, Dignity Health, Community Health Centers, the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department along with Los Osos Cares, the SLO County Food Bank, and First Five, will participate in a community health fair open to all on June 11, from 12 to 3 p.m.. at the Iglesias Linaje Escojido de Morro Bay Church at 2050 Ironwood Avenue in Morro Bay.
Health screenings will be available, and a variety of information booths will educate on a variety of health subjects. The SLO Food Bank will offer food distribution.
