Travelers on Highway 41 may experience delays due to embankment repairs
– A stretch of Highway 41 between Morro Bay and Atascadero has reopened following a series of destructive winter storms earlier this month, however, drivers should still expect delays traveling the road as Cal Trans conducts embankment repairs, according to reports.
Cal Trans reportedly began a $1.7 million embankment repair project on that section of the highway in September. There is still one-way traffic control about three miles east of the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 41.
Traffic control continues 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected, according to Cal Trans.
