Morro Coast Audubon Society hosting community Zoom program
Variety of different birds will be shown
– The Morro Coast Audubon Society, which serves the San Luis Obispo County, will be hosting the presentation “Birds of SLO, 2021, Part 1” by Dave Keeling featuring a slideshow of images of birds taken in the local area on April 18 at 7 p.m. with musical accompaniment by Oliver Glynn live on piano.
The images were all taken between January and May of 2021 by nature photographers.
Highlights of the presentation will include pictures of baby Great Horned Owls, Pied-billed Grebes, American Kestrels, and more including the elusive Streak-backed Oriole, which is a first for the series of presentations.
Anybody interested in birds and birding is welcome to attend, whether beginner or expert.
