Spring adult basketball league registration now open

League took a two-season hiatus due to the pandemic

– The City of Atascadero has announced the return of the spring adult basketball league. After a two-season hiatus due to the pandemic, the league is back in the gym at the Colony Park Community Center in Atascadero.

The league will run from March 20 – June 5 allowing eight regular-season games and ending with an end-of-season tournament taking place the weekend of June 4 and 5. Games will take place on Sundays with the exception of the tournament, as some games will be played on Saturday, June 4. All teams will be co-ed and applications are accepted on a team basis only with a minimum of eight players and a maximum of 12 players.

League fees are $421 per team. Non-residents are $5 per player, eight or more non-residents, add 10-percent ($42.10). Team registration and fees must be turned in at the front desk of the Colony Park Community Center located at 5599 Traffic Way, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. The registration deadline is March 7.
