Atascadero High School Athlete of the Week
Atascadero High School Athlete of the Week

Clayton Loney
Greyhound: Clayton Loney
Sport: Wrestling
Coach’s comment: Clayton Loney continues to be a critical part of our team and program. He is a team leader that is not only vocal but leads by example. He has wrestled for the Hounds all four years in high school and seems to be peaking at the right time of the season. Clayton has placed at every team tournament and is on a hot streak heading into the postseason with Pins at heavyweights vs Nipomo and Righetti high schools. We are optimistic that his hard work will pay off in the coming weeks. Clayton is a three-sport athlete and also participates in football and track. After graduation, he will attend the College of the Sequoias and play football. – Atascadero High School
All coaches at Atascadero High School are invited to participate in Athletes of the Week to recognize students who were standouts at a recent competition, showing improvement at practices, or bringing a great attitude to the team. Coaches may contact Beth Brennan at [email protected].
