California Mid-State Fair free shuttle service added to the City of Atascadero
–As part of the California Mid-State Fair sponsorship program, the City of Atascadero and the Atascadero Tourism Business Improvement District are introducing new, complimentary fair shuttle locations to the city.
This free shuttle service to the California Mid-State Fair includes Sunken Gardens at 6505 El Camino Real and Smart & Final at the current bus pick up location at the 8200 block of El Camino Real. In addition to these two new locations, there is a third location at Springhill Suites by Marriot at the 900 block of El Camino Real. Mid State Fair event-goers are to look for the American Star Trailways buses operating each day of the fair.
Plenty of parking is offered around each of the shuttle locations. You can park on the street and in city parking lots and in marked locations. Please make sure you do not park in restricted areas, as your automobile may be towed at your expense (parking is 100-percent the individual’s responsibility). In addition, please be aware and kind to neighboring businesses!
Atascadero shuttle stops will begin at 4 p.m. each day, with buses running every 15-30 minutes. Keep in mind that the times are approximate and should only be used as guidelines. Depending on the crowd size, pick up and drop off times could vary by up to 30 minutes. Please allow ample time to get to the Fair. Keep in mind that concert tickets do not include general admission to the Fair. In addition, the evening time is busier with the popular concert schedule, so allow yourself plenty of time.
