Man arrested after two victims report stabbing
–On Saturday at 5:45 a.m. hours officers were dispatched to an assault victim in the 400 Blk. of Atascadero Rd. Upon arrival, officers contacted the male victim who had sustained numerous stab wounds to his chest, arms, and neck. The 19-year-old victim was immediately transported to a local hospital for serious injuries related to the assault.
During the investigation, a 19-year-old female victim was located near the scene and also reported being stabbed during the assault on the male victim. The female victim was also transported to a local hospital for medical treatment of her injuries.
The female victim reported the suspect was possibly still at the scene and officers from the Morro Bay Police Department and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence where the suspect, 19-year-old Jesus Romansoroa was taken into custody without further incident.
During the investigation, it was determined the female victim was in possession of an infant child during the assault and officers confirmed the child did not receive any injuries during this incident.
The male victim is undergoing medical treatment for his injuries. Suspect Jesus Romansoroa was transported to the Morro Bay Police Department for further investigation and will be booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. No more details as to the nature of this crime are available.
