–A fundraiser will be held at Rava Wines in Paso Robles for the late Shelby Sudbrink.
Her room was always a mess, she ate so many In-N-Out french fries she was pretty much a potato, she had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up your world. She loved to laugh and to live life to its fullest. That was Shelbs. Shelby Cora Sudbrink left this world too soon after an automobile accident on Jan. 6, 2017. She was just 17 years old. To honor her memory and the light she brought to everyone’s lives, through her laughter, her warmth, her open and welcoming soul, her talent on the field, court and classroom, the Shelby Sudbrink Memorial Scholarship Foundation was formed.
The Foundation’s mission is to award one scholarship per year to a female athlete graduating from Templeton High School. As a tribute to Shelby’s #12 sports jerseys, the scholarship recipient will receive $1,212.12 per college academic term for up to eight terms, totaling approximately $9,700. This year’s scholarship winner will be announced at the SSMSF’s Second Annual Dinner & Auction event on Friday, May 4.
Join us at Rava Wines in Paso Robles from 6-10pm for dinner by Pacific Harvest Catering, open bar featuring local beer and wine selections, desserts by Madonna Inn and Harmony Valley Creamery, DJ, Live and Silent Auctions and photo fun by Lux PhotoBooth. Tickets are $100 or save $150 by sponsoring a table of 10 for $850 and receive special recognition, priority seating and food service and receive a bottle of wine at your table.
