RV ownership not required: cottages, rental options make resort available to all
–Cava Robles, which is in the final stages of construction, is currently accepting reservations for its partial opening beginning May 1.
Vacationers who don’t own an RV can enjoy a stay at the resort by reserving one of Cava Robles’ gorgeous cottages; can rent a vehicle commercially through a company like Cruise America, or privately through organizations like Outdoorsy.com and RVShare.com, both recently lauded by travel expert Arthur Frommer.
Lisa Harold, Sun Communities’ Regional Vice President, said enthusiasm for RV vacations is growing rapidly, especially among millennials. “Our industry is skyrocketing in popularity,” she said, “and we planned Cava Robles to provide everything our guests want—whether they own RV’s or not.”
Crews at Cava Robles RV Resort, tucked discreetly in Paso Robles’ gently rolling hills, are putting finishing touches on the RV resort and cottage property that will include two swimming pools, a children’s splash pad, the Fox Run Wellness Center with the SunFit Fitness Center and Oak Spa Massage and the Farmhouse Bistro style restaurant and bar. Hiking and biking areas, hillside vineyards and oak trees, three pet play areas and easy access to a nearby water park add to the appeal, and “with the options of our gorgeous new cottages or easy RV rentals, literally anyone can be part of the fun,” Harold said.
