4th Annual ‘Brew at the Zoo’ returns April 28 

–The City of Atascadero and the Charles Paddock Zoo have announced the 4th Annual “Brew at the Zoo,” to be held on Saturday, April 28 from 5:30-9 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at www.VisitAtascadero.com/Brew-at-the-Zoo, or at the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce! Early bird tickets are $30 per person; designated driver tickets are $5 per person. If not sold out, tickets will be $35 per person at the door.

A fun evening is in store with a sampling of craft breweries, wine and cider for everyone to enjoy while strolling through the zoo. Attendees will receive a collectible beer glass for tastings, and will be able to enjoy live music and entertainment as well as a variety of food, t-shirts and gift shop souvenirs available for purchase.

A variety of craft beer, wine and cider will be available, including 7 Sisters Brewing Company, Ballast Point, Bristol’s Cider House, Central Coast Brewing, Dead Oak Brewery, Donati Family Wines, Dunbar Brewing, Earth & Fire Brewing Company, Justin Winery, Libertine Brewing Company, Lone Madrone Winery, Ruby Cellars, Santa Maria Brewing, Tap It Brewing Company, and Tent City Brewing Company. Plus a special “Welcome” reception pouring of brew as you enter the zoo (first come, first served).

For designated drivers they will have A&W Root beer and Yes Cocktail Company on tap. Entertainment and music with Medina Light Show and Designs that will include a karaoke, hula hoop and a dance contest, so be ready to win some great prizes too. Enjoy Special guest, Bear Market Riot, as the duo plays their power folk music. A variety of food for purchase that will include everything from BBQ, tacos and tamales to sliders, garlic fries and cookies.

This very special event will be closed to the public and is available only for guests 21 years of age and over. Designated drivers must also be over 21 if attending this event. For more information, call us at (805) 461-5080.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the zoo’s ongoing education and conservation efforts.
