The Wall That Heals on display in San Luis Obispo 


–On the second annual National Vietnam Veterans Day about 250 civilians and a few military personnel attended the opening ceremony for the Wall That Heals, which is visiting San Luis Obispo until Sunday.

A candlelight vigil will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. A Veterans Stand-down will occur at 11 a.m. Saturday morning, during which veterans may access information about services available to them.

Each Vietnam Veteran was presented with a lapel pin honoring their military service.

The Vietnam Memorial Wall is on display until Sunday afternoon at the Madonna Inn. Entry and parking is free.
