Free wool-needle and wet-felting fiber art demonstration at Art Center Morro Bay
–Fiber artist Debbie Gedayloo is presenting a free demonstration in wool-needle and wet-felting fiber art, by Debbie Gedayloo on Mar 12 from 3-5 p.m. at the Art Center Morro Bay.
Gedayloo has a taught art to adults and children for 30 years. While teaching English as a second language, Gedayloo used visual art to help educate the students and that love of creativity and self-expression blossomed into fiber art. “Wool is such a tactile medium with a personality that yearns to be drawn forth,”. said Gedayloo, who designed and painted a cow for the 2016 San Luis Obispo County Cow Parade and has participated in Imadonnari street painting festivals in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Temecula, Carlsbad, Laguna Niguel, Ventura and Prescott.
During this demonstration, Gedayloo will engage participants in a lively discussion and hands on exploration of needle felting and give an overview of techniques used in wet felting, sculpture and fiber painting.
