Morro Bay Art Association Student Art Show opens Mar. 3
–The Morro Bay Art Association Student Art Show will be held at the Morro Bay public library, 625 Harbor Street in Morro Bay, Mar 3–Apr 7. The opening reception is Mar 10 from 3-5 p.m.
Twenty-five students will be selected from this submission to participate in a matting and framing session in Feb at participating schools. Art Center Morro Bay will provide the mattes and frames. Scholarship winners will receive Best of Show $150, 1st place two-dimensional $100, 2nd place two-dimensional $50, 1st place three-dimensional $100, 2nd place three-dimensional $50. Judging will be done online as a positive comment review by three local professional artists. Students will be able to see the judges’ comments.
