Road work planned in Atascadero next week
– A project to extend the left turn lane and reconstruct the intersection of State Route 41 from west of Los Altos Road to east of Old Morro Road will continue next week with traffic control in the following location:
Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control at the intersection of State Route 41 at Los Altos Road beginning Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 5 minutes.
The contractor for this $1.5 million dollar project is Shetler Construction of San Luis Obispo, CA. The contractor is working under a permit from Caltrans through the City of Atascadero.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down while driving through highway construction zones.
