Joyce Herman, docent at the historical site and volunteer with Friends of the Adobe said, “Our annual Haunted Adobe night is a lot of fun for every member of the family and it can be a bit spooky as well. We welcome everyone to come out and spend the evening with us.”

Returning to the adobe for the event will be Paul Burkle, a master of scary storytelling and ghost adventures, along with tarot card readings by Ray-Anne.  Volunteers will be on site to hand out lighted candles, provide tours of the decorated grounds and inside of the Adobe; follow luminaries along the paths and beware of lurking goblins.

Students from the Paso Robles High School’s Drama Department return to help with screams, and the Friends of the Adobe will serve complimentary refreshments to all visitors.

The Rios-Caledonia Adobe is located adjacent to Mission San Miguel at 700 South Mission St. in San Miguel. Regular tours take place Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, check out rios-caledoniaadobe.org or find them on Facebook.
