City offering summer volleyball camp
–Registration is now open for a Summer Youth Volleyball Camp in Atascadero for those 10 to 14 years old. Camp will run Monday through Friday, June 26 through the 30; from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Colony Park Community Center in Atascadero. The cost is $82 for Atascadero residents and $90 for non-residents. This volleyball camp will focus on skill development for beginning to experienced volleyball players and will improve every camper’s skill level. Passing, serving, hitting and setting will be the main focus for the week, but offensive and defensive volleyball strategies will also be taught.
Pre-registration is required and registration is being accepted at the Colony Park Community Center, located at 5599 Traffic Way in Atascadero, or at www.atascadeo.org. For more information please call 470-3360.
