‘Pushing Boundaries’ exhibits at the Art Center Morro Bay

–Morro Bay Art Association presents “Pushing Boundaries: Exploring Abstraction, a National Juried Exhibit,” judged by award winning artist Krista Harris. Harris is a professional artist of international fame. “Her masterful use of vibrant color evokes energy, strength and simplicity. Her captivating work will lure you in to explore richly layered designs that reveal a deeper place – somewhere pure and personal,” said Patricia Newton, Marketing Director for the Morro Bay Art Association.
Harris exhibits in Dallas, Palm Desert, Chicago, Vermont, Telluride, Portland and other fine art galleries across the country. Her work is widely collected in private and corporate collections throughout the world, including Duke Memorial Cancer Center, Durham, NC; Northern Trust Bank, Chicago, IL; and the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Grand Cayman Island.
The exhibit celebrates artistic expression in all media and presents a variety of subject matter spanning partial to total abstract. “Pushing Boundaries” is on display from Aug. 3 through Sept. 11. Opening reception is Sunday, August 6, 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Art Center Morro Bay, located at 835 Main St., Morro Bay, CA, is open from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. daily.
