Painted swastika, racial slurs, and other acts of vandalism reported at Templeton High 

Graffiti, vandalism, causes thousands in damages

–The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vandalism incident that occurred Saturday at Templeton High School. Deputies responded to that location after receiving a call from school staff Sunday morning.

Deputies discovered the gym had been flooded using a garden hose that had been placed inside the gym and left running, causing thousands of dollars in damage to the gym floor. In addition, graffiti consisting of a swastika and racial slurs had been written on several of the windows at the school. As a result, Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating this incident as a hate crime and the FBI has been notified.
