Atascadero High School Jazz Band gets a lesson from trioKait 

The Atascadero High School Jazz Band had the honor of receiving a clinic and benefit concert from the Los Angeles-based group trioKait on March 29th.

The stars aligned as the Jazz group had attended a Greyhound Foundation meeting, the same evening an opportunity had been presented that the group trioKait would be performing locally and was interested in participating in a benefit concert for a local organization.

The students received a very rewarding clinic during their study hall period.

Later that evening, the AHS Jazz band performed as the opening act for the trioKait performance. All were treated to a spectacular concert, and the funds generated are helping the Jazz students attend the Reno Jazz Festival later this month.
